bike rental

To make your road cycling holidays and tours even easier, we have a fleet of new Cannondale road bicycles available across a wide range of sizes from 48 to 58. Our bikes are professionally serviced and immaculately maintained.

The bikes have compact or semi-compact gearing with 28 or 32 tooth cassettes and are perfectly suited to the local terrain. The range includes Cannondale Supersix Evo Disc, Synapse and CAAD12. Bikes are fitted with Ultegra level components.

We will fit and adjust the bike to suit you. We ask guests to provide their own pedals, shoes, cleats and helmets. We can provide entry level Shimano and Look compatible pedals by Exustar. Some guests choose to bring a saddle.

We take a refundable deposit for the bike hire and require that you have adequate insurance cover.

Alternative bike hire is available upon request should we not stock your size.

  • SuperSix EVO

     Disc

The best all round blend of fantastic comfort, perfect handling and a thrilling ride suited to both racers and relaxed sportive riders. Everybody loves the Supersix and it's now a considered a modern classic for good reason.

Wheels and components are by Mavic and Shimano Ultegra Hydraulic disc.

Bikes are provided with 2 bottle cages, 1 spare inner tube, 2 tyre levers, tool kit box and a 1 Litre water bottle.

  • Caad 12 Disc

The same geometry as the Supersix Evo in what many consider the best aluminium frame available on the market. It rides similarly to the Supersix with similar comfort levels.

Wheels and components are by Easton and Sram Red and Force.

Bikes are provided  with 2 bottle cages, 1 spare inner tube, 2 tyre levers, tool kit box and a 1 Litre water bottle.

  • Synapse

An endurance geometry bike, with a carbon fibre frame suited to long days in the saddle. Wheels and components are Ultegra level.

Bikes are provided with 2 bottle cages, 1 spare inner tube, 2 tyre levers, tool kit box and a 1 Litre water bottle.

  • geometry

The SuperSix EVO and CAAD12 have traditional geometry with a near horizontal top tube. This means many people can comfortably go down a frame size and raise the saddle to expose a little more seatpost. This can add even more comfort, especially in smaller frame sizes.

The Synapse geometry is a little taller (more upright) and has slightly shorter reach than the SuperSix and generally fits true to size.

  • fit guide

Here's our general fit guide for SuperSix EVO and CAAD12. Many of guests prefer to size down on our Cannondales. If you normally ride a 54, a 52 is likely to be a good fit.

    Frame size 50 - 5'3"-5'7"

    Frame size 52 - 5'6"-5'10

    Frame size 54 - 5'8"-5'11"

    Frame size 56 - 5'10"-6'2"

    Frame size 58 - 6'0"-6'4"

Fit guide Cannondale Synapse:  Frame size 51 - 5'2-5'6"

    hire T&C's

Most personal insurance policies and many travel operators policies do not cover hire bicycles. Many others provide no cover crash, theft and frame damage.

It is your responsibility to ensure adequate cover is in place to cover any loss arising from accidental damage, crash damage or theft of the bike or parts.

We recommend Yellow Jersey Insurance for the best hire bike cover and annual policies. Use guest code ESCAPAR10 for a 10% discount. They provide short term hire bike cover, including crash, theft and frame damage.
